Singer Jason Dhakal is on a roll. After debuting a new ‘do in the moody music video for U, the “Night In” singer surprised us yet again with a Valentine’s Day release.

The new single, called Body & Soul, is a sultry collaboration with Lustbass that Jason says is about “the shit that you’d do for someone you’d like to be with.” With lyrics like “You know, you ain’t gotta tell me, baby I’ll do it”, the song is a welcome addition to our queue.

Right now, Jason is working on putting out more songs and explore different genres. For now, we asked him to share some of the love songs that he’s been feeling lately.

Start your Valentine’s (and payday) weekend with Jason’s hand-picked tracks below, guaranteed to get you in the mood for some lovin’.

Body & Soul – Jason Dhakal

The song itself is just about love in its entirety, no aftermaths or hurt, just wholehearted love, meaning both your body and your soul.

Livid – Eliza

Love Eliza — her whole album is really good, highly recommended.

Kat Edmonson – If

I love how she talks about different “if’s” and how she’d still choose her significant other over anything.

Marco McKinnis – How I Feel

Straight forward and blunt, telling you how I feel.

ALA.NI – Cherry Blossom (Moors Remix)

I really like this song because it sounds like somebody falling in love, the beat itself shows that.
