Drop everything! Love You to the Stars and Back is now on iflix. Yes, you read that right. The hit romcom by Antoinette Jadaone (That Thing Called Tadhana, English Only Please, The Breakup Playlist) starring teen love team Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia grossed P60 million in only its first week last August. Since then, it’s been screened in select cinemas in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. But for people like me who still managed to miss it — do not fear, for iflix is here! With iflix, you can shamelessly shriek in kilig within the safe confines of your bedroom, away from judging eyes. But more importantly, as Joshua puts it: “Puwede mo siyang i-pause kung kailangan mong mag-CR.”

Streaming network iflix has over one billion consumers throughout Asia, Africa and the Middle East. And because iflix prides itself on its powers of localization, it offers its users a wide array of film and TV selections from not only Hollywood, but our local entertainment scene as well — hence, the arrival of Love You to the Stars and Back on our very own small screens.

“This is really the new landscape for film,” shares Star Cinema head Enrico Santos. “We will continue to grow our collaboration to give iflix subscribers even more amazing content in the coming months. We call this the rise of the kapamiflix!” Santos even hints at Star Cinemas producing original content with iflix in the coming years.
Crazy, I know. Why waste time doing useless things like laundry, or taxes, when there’s a JoshLia movie to be seen? Time to get that free trial. — Helene Enriquez

After your free trial, a subscription on iflix.com starts at only P129 a month.
