Pop it and lock it with Starbucks’ new Frappuccino flavors

While we all love ourselves a hot, steaming cup of coffee in the morning the same way Lorelai Gilmore does, the summer scorch is making it very hard to enjoy these drinks. And since it’s still scientifically impossible to get coffee in an IV, we’ve resorted to getting iced versions of our go-to drinks to satisfy our caffeine cravings.

A frappuccino might just be what you need to get your daily coffee fix without risking heatstroke. Lucky for us, Starbucks Philippines is coming out with two new limited-edition flavors. There’s the Pop’zel Coffee Frappuccino, which triggers recollections of day-long movie marathons with its caramel popcorn and salted pretzel toppings over a coffee base blended with popcorn and pretzel syrup.

If you’re in the mood to relive those bonfire nights from your barkada beach trips, you’ll rejoice at the return of the Roasted Marshmallow S’mores Frappuccino, which combines a vanilla frappuccino base with marshmallow whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and graham crumble.

And while you’re there, balance out the sweetness with Starbucks’s new limited-edition food offerings, like the Roast Beef Deli on Ciabatta Bread with slow-roasted beef, button mushrooms, and horseradish spread or add onto it with the Banana Chocolate Danish, a flaky pastry filled with a combination of chocolate and sliced banana.

It’ll take a while for cooler weather to hit our shores, so go ahead and grab these cool treats while you can. Perfect for reliving old moments and making new memories under (and maybe hiding from) the sun.

The Starbucks summer Frappuccino flavors are available in Starbucks stores for a limited time, from April 18 to June 5.
