When scaling a summit, you should aim for… peak performance.
Mountain-climbing, trekking, hiking — these are a few of my least favorite things. I tried to climb a mountain a grand total of one time, and suffice to say I died many times on the way up. It was supposedly an easy climb to negotiate, but I was clearly not prepared for the incline. My ratty old running shoes were so old and unused that the soles were falling apart; my backpack was more suitable for the urban setting; and my clothes were a poor excuse for hiking wear.
I eventually made it, but I certainly could have used a little more help. Anyone else in need of some hiking backup might find themselves getting their fix at Lowe Alpine Silvermark, one of the most well-known brands in the world for excellent hiking gear. They recently opened their very first store in the Philippines, which features a full range of products like jackets, trousers, T-shirts, and their beloved outdoor bags for any adventure. They even have all-terrain rollie bags — in case you need to travel to Mount Everest, maybe — and fanny packs for easier climbs. Take it from a hiking survivor: with Lowe Alpine offering such a wide selection of products, you won’t need much more.
Lowe Alpine Silvermark is located on the third level of SM Megamall’s Mega Fashion Hall. For more information, follow them @lowealpinesilvermarkph.
