I hope you’ve been practicing your tricks and saving your coin, because Wanderland is back, and it’s going to be the most magical one yet. Brace yourself for a trip because, if you haven’t caught the hint yet, next year’s theme is going to be — you guessed it! — magic. Cue the oohs and aahs.

Come summer next year, what is arguably the biggest music and arts festival in the metro will once again gather the most anticipated acts under one roof (or should I say field?). And since Wanderland is in its seventh year, they decided to go big — two-day festival big. That’s right: Wanderland Magic will happen over two days, March 9 and 10, 2019. The festival will once again take place at the Filinvest City Event Grounds in Alabang, so there’s plenty of space to roll around and, I dunno, transcend into different dimensions. Because, yeah, the music is going to be that good.
The full lineup hasn’t been unveiled yet, but if you’ve been to Wanderland in years past, you know producer Karpos Multimedia never disappoints. Tickets are on sale now at wanderlandfestival.com, and trust me, you’re not going to want to wait until they’re about to sell out. A regular wanderer two-day pass will run you P7,000+ (exclusive of ticket service charges), but for three grand more, you get a star wanderer pass that comes with some perks. If you round up your barkada you can get a regular Wanderbuddies bundle for P30,000+, while a star Wanderbuddies bundle goes for P40,000+. That might sound a bit steep, but for what you’re (potentially) getting — two days of music and magic — I’m already saving up. See you on the flip side.
